Losing your hard Work

I have been doing digital photography now for 12 years, and all that time I have been lulled into a false sense of “that will never happen to me” when it comes to losing your images, having your laptop suddenly die on you or one of those nightmarish situations.  I always used to have a smug look when people complained some thing bad like that happened.  I had these thoughts flashing through my mind about how they didn’t know what they were doing. Microstock Anniversary 2015

It has been one year now since I started submitting work to micro stock libraries. With a one year old on my hip I was in need to something to get the creative juices flowing as well as give me freedom to work when I want while doing something I enjoy.  Microstock seemed like a good option to try out.  I know a lot of professional photographers despise micro stock and think it is ruining their business, and I am not here to argue a point, just to share my experience along the way.

The Heart Behind AG Creations

I remember watching the movie “Eat Pray Love” a few years back and being struck by the scene where some one says something like “I asked who are you not what do you do”.  I spent a long time thinking about that concept.  I have often defined myself by what I do and not who I am.  And although this blog driven by my passion for photography that is not where it ends.  I am essentially a creative heart that loves exploring the diverse world that God has given us.
